Ever since I was a little girl I have been consumed by fashion and beauty, always one to have several outfit changes before being completely satisfied.  Some of my earliest memories are of the feuds I would have with my mother over my clothing choices, needless to say I had my way in most instances.  Then came the hair and make-up disputes... and well, nothing has really changed 29 years later.  So it was only fitting that I would one day end up in the industry which has had the biggest influence on my life.

It has taken a while but I finally have an outlet to express and share my style, in addition to promoting the best designers and new talent the Australian fashion industry has to offer.  When establishing the boutique, my aim was to source edgy Australian designers in a widely affordable price range and also to carry some exclusive labels which could not be easily found elsewhere. 

The Gold Coast is full of glamorous, fashion conscious women and as a true local, I always felt there was a gap in the market for something 'different'.  As is the case in any city, GC women like to be original and wear something no-one has seen before.  From time to time I come across stand-out international designers which add a touch of ‘celebrity’ to the mix and compliment this theme beautifully.

The first 18 months has been so exciting in providing several expansion opportunities, the most obvious being the establishment of ZALI's online boutique.  It is an ongoing journey and I am really excited at what the future will hold.  I am continuously on the lookout for new designers, attending industry events and always aiming to secure fashion-forward labels in order to offer my customers a unique shopping destination.  I look forward to continuing to bring the best in affordable, on-trend fashion to all Australian women. ♥
