We kindly request that you take a moment to read our policies prior to purchasing any items via our online boutique.  The following policies govern the use of our web site and the purchase of any items from our online boutique.

Order Processing

We want our customers to have a unique shopping experience so we strive to continually offer an exclusive range of beautiful garments.  For this reason we carry limited quantities of each style and our items are subject to availability.  In the unfortunate event that the item you select is out of stock, you will be promptly offered the choice of selecting an alternative item, credit note or a refund.

Orders placed prior to 3:00pm AEST will be processed the same day (excluding weekends and public holidays) and will be dispatched within 48 hours (pending stock availability and receipt of payment).  Orders placed after 3:00pm AEST will be processed the following day and will be dispatched within 48 hours.  Orders placed after 3:00pm AEST on Friday, will be processed on the following business day.  Please allow 1-3 working days for delivery within Australia and 5-10 working days for international orders.

International Order Processing

In order for us to process your order, we require a copy of your passport (please block out the passport number for security) in addition to a copy of the front and reverse side of your credit card (please block out the card number except for the last 4 digits).  This identification information must be either emailed to sales@zaliboutique.com or faxed to +61 7 5539 8371.  Once we receive your identification information, we will process your order immediately.  You only need to do this the first time you place an online order at ZALI, following which you will be a verified customer.

Shipping Costs & Methods

Australian orders incur a flat rate postage fee of $12.00 for all orders.  All international orders incur a flat rate postage fee of $30AUD.

We use Australia Post’s internet enabled freight management system which offers:

  • Express Post within Australia
  • Registered Post with signature on delivery for international orders
  • Ability to track the status of your parcel via http://auspost.com.au/track/

Return Policy

Great care is taken when selecting our beautiful range of garments, so you can be confident that you are buying something of exceptional quality.  Upon receiving your purchase, we advise you to try your garment/s on immediately to ensure that you have selected the correct size and that you are satisfied with your item/s.  If for some reason you are not completely satisfied with your online selection, we are pleased to offer the following return policy in accordance with The Office of Fair Trading:

If you receive an item that does not fit, exchanges on FULL PRICED items (excluding jewellery) will be accepted WITHIN 7 DAYS OF THE DATE WHICH YOU RECEIVED YOUR ORDER for items that HAVE NOT BEEN WORN, ALTERED, WASHED, DAMAGED OR MARKED and with ALL TAGS AND LABELLING IN TACT.  Under no circumstances are returns or exchanges granted for sale items.

Exchanged items cannot be returned for a refund.  Returned exchanged items can only be exchanged again, or a store credit note issued for the returned exchanged item.

In order for your return to be accepted, you must contact us via email immediately upon receiving your item to advise why it is not suitable and that you would like to return it.  The item/s MUST be received by ZALI within 7 days of the date which you received your order.  Any returned item/s received by ZALI beyond the 7 day time frame will not be accepted and the item/s will be returned to you, the customer.

Shoes should be tried on a carpeted surface so as to avoid marking the soles.  Any shoes returned showing signs of wear will not be accepted.

Returns and exchanges are NOT accepted on jewellery items for hygiene reasons.

Postage will NOT be refunded on full priced items that are returned. Postage fees are the customer's responsibility on any items that are exchanged.  

ZALI DOES NOT OFFER A REFUND IF YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND AFTER PLACING YOUR ORDER.  A store credit note or exchange will be issued upon receiving any cancellation requests.  Store credit notes are valid for 6 MONTHS from the date of issue and can be used to purchase any item from our online boutique, as well as our physical store.  NB: It is the customer's responsibility to redeem their credit note by the due date; ZALI is not responsible for reminding customers of their pending credit notes.

If you believe you have received a faulty item, please contact us immediately for assistance.  PLEASE NOTE: It is at the manufacturer's discretion to determine if an item is faulty (which may take some time as the item will have to be returned to the manufacturer for examination/testing).  In this instance, you may receive a repair or replacement complimentary.  If a repair or replacement is not possible, then you will receive a full refund.

ZALI reserves the right to refuse any returned item we believe is not of saleable quality and/or has been worn, altered, washed, damaged or marked. Extra shipping and handling charges to return the item to the customer will remain the responsibility of the customer and no exchange or credit note will be issued. 

All items are thoroughly checked by our quality control department prior to dispatch in order to ensure they are in perfect condition.  We photograph every item closely prior to dispatching orders.  False claims made by any customer regarding the condition of an item upon receiving an order will not be accepted as an excuse to obtain a refund for that item.

All items being returned should be packaged well and sent via REGISTERED POST.  Please return item/s with original tags attached and a copy of your receipt to:

Please include your full name, address, contact number, and indicate if you would prefer an exchange or credit note. Please notify us by e-mail once you have returned the item and provide us with the registered post tracking number. PLEASE NOTE: Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.  ZALI DOES NOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR ITEMS THAT ARE LOST OR DAMAGED DURING TRANSIT.

Privacy Policy

ZALI is dedicated to keeping your details private.  Any information we collect in relation to you is kept strictly secured.  We do not pass on/sell/swap any of your personal details with third parties. We use this information to identify your orders, provide you with our monthly newsletter (if applicable) and to personalise your shopping experience with us; that's all.  ZALI uses cookies to allow you to login to your account, maintain a shopping cart and to purchase items in your shopping cart.  Cookies sent to your computer from ZALI only last while you’re browsing our website.  We do not store persistent cookies on your computer.  Cookies also allow us to give you a more personalised shopping experience by displaying products that interest you throughout our product pages, thus providing you with a more friendly, interesting and enjoyable shopping experience.

Whenever you use our web site, or any other web site, the computer on which the web pages are stored (the Web server) needs to know the network address of your computer so that it can send the requested web pages to your Internet browser.  The unique network address of your computer is called its "IP address," and is sent automatically each time you access any Internet site.  From a computer's IP address, it is possible to determine the general geographic location of that computer, but otherwise it is anonymous.

We do not keep a record of the IP addresses from which users access our site except where you have specifically provided us with information about yourself, in which case we also record your IP address for security purposes.  An example of this would be when proceeding to a checkout to finalise an order you may wish to make. After completing the form provided, your IP address will be stored along with a transaction number that allows us to track your order.

Security Policy

When purchasing from ZALI, your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology 128-bit SSL encryption is approximated to take at least one trillion years to break, and is the industry standard.
